Looks great, Tim! I was curious, is there a way to cache the tracer/Thinking Particles? I tried to use the Mograph cache Tag on the tracer object and nothing seemed to bake out. Any suggestions?
    Cheers!

  2. Tim Says:

    Hi

You can cache the result using the MoGraph cache tag, but to do this I think you’d need to generate the particles using the Matrix Object. Should work then.

Ok, i’m a C4D newbie and all I can achieve is some cheap FX so far, but I’m studying TP and Xpresso and I hope to achieve something similar sooner or later…
But I just have to ask you: how do you make the particle tracer follow the text letters like that?!? ;)

  5. Tim Says:

    Hi Alex,

You create the particles inside the letters and use the geometry as collision objects so they bounce around inside.

    cheers
    Tim

    Hi Tim,

I am lost at this one, would you mind sharing the project files (or simplified project files)?

    Cheers
    Mark
